TraceSafe Technologies Inc Deploys New Carbon Emissions Calculator as World Races Towards ‘Net Zero’

TraceSafe Technologies Inc has announced the launch of a unique, free carbon emissions calculator for the global events industry as the world races to fight climate change.

It comes after the IoT solutions company recently acquired carbon offset marketplace Offsety.

The company said the tool will help event organizers, venue owners and sports federations and provide unique insights into top sources of emissions, including the impact of individual teams and attendees.

The company noted that the calculator is available for free at After calculating an event’s carbon footprint, organizers can offset their emissions by investing in TraceSafe’s high-quality offset projects around the world, he added.

TraceSafe said that increasingly major sports and events federations have recognized the importance of hosting carbon neutral events and made commitments in this direction, including the NHL, FIFA, Formula 1 and the International Committee Olympic.

He noted that the Paris 2024 Olympics have an ambitious goal of becoming the “greenest” games ever.

“However, the first step towards low or no carbon events is an accurate measurement of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. TraceSafe’s tool was designed to obtain this data in the simplest way. and as quickly as possible, in order to get organizations on the path to net zero,” the company said.
