Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are so happy with their rekindled romance that they would be open to the idea of marriage almost two decades after breaking off their first engagement
Love is certainly back in the air for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck since they sensationally reunited last year.
The Hollywood couple shocked their fans by rekindling their romance 18 years after breaking off their first engagement.
And now it looks like the couple are ready to dive into married life together after a source close to them revealed they were “open to the possibility of getting engaged and married”.
The insider told ET, “Ben and Jen are so in love. Their loved ones wouldn’t be surprised if Ben popped the question.
“Of course, they will be mindful of their children when thinking about moving their relationship forward. They both want things to go well between their children, not just between themselves.”
Singer Jen, 52, shares 13-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while actor Ben, 49, shares Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Sam, nine, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Bennifer, as they are affectionately known to fans, was an item in 2002 and got engaged before ending their relationship in 2004.
After nearly two decades apart, they’ve tried again and seem to be getting better and better; they looked extremely happily in love watching the Super Bowl on Sunday at SoFi Stadium in California.
The source added that the couple “really trust each other” and feel like they have so much in common in life right now.
They claimed that the couple’s children also love each other, which means the relationship is much smoother than it could have been.
They said J Lo says their romance is like ‘a fairy tale between them and how they’re meant to be’ and insists the star is ‘so incredibly in love with him’.
Gone Girl star Ben showed off his sweet side by getting creative with his gift as the couple celebrated their first Valentine’s Day together.
He created a romantic video montage of their relationship with his new song ‘On My Way’ and according to Harper’s Bazaar Jenny from the Block wrote in her newsletter: “Watching it made me think of the journey of true love, it’s unexpected twists, and that when it’s real, it can go on forever.”
She added, “It seriously melted my heart.”
The clip featured snaps of the pair from the early 2000s, including a music video in which Ben played Jen’s handsome boyfriend.
